Position is based out of our Winter Park Office.

Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain administrative requirements and keep projects organized
  • Multi-task several projects at once staying productive and efficient
  • Communicate scheduling conflicts to your direct manager and provide solutions that enable you to complete your responsibilities
  • Produce drawings and presentations beginning with conceptual design taken through the phases of design development, construction documents, and construction administration
  • Coordinate proactively & collaborate with other members of the interior detailing team
  • Provide design solutions to guide fabrication consultants (cabinetry, millwork, stone, metal, etc.). Review their shop drawings to ensure design intent is followed through
  • Accommodate deadline expectations agreed to by both client and design team
  • Coordinate with all or some of the following: private client, builder/GC, developer, and architect
  • Occasionally present design ideas and details with confidence

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years experience preferred

Description

Come join the Marc-Michael’s Interior Design team as our newest Purchasing/Expediting Specialist! This role coordinates the ordering, shipping, and delivery tracking for all projects, acting as a liaison between the design staff, vendors, and warehouses. Our ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills. Attention to detail is a must, and the ability to prioritize effectively is essential to balance multiple ongoing projects simultaneously. You will be working closely with our design teams and accounting department to ensure all items are tracked, input, paid in full and delivered in advance of installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain all AP accounts (With AP manager) For Marc-Michaels Interior Design, INC., and Marc-Michaels Interior Design International, LLC as it relates to ordering merchandise
  • Periodically follow up on the status of each line item for every project assigned and provide regular status updates to the design teams
  • Maintain proper record of all communication with vendors and provide regular status updates to design teams
  • Input status daily of all orders in accounting software and ensure regular status updates to the design teams
  • Coordinate payment with AP of all invoices for line items entered in AP
  • Coordinate with AR the proper invoicing of all merchandise/Freight and other incidentals to clients
  • Will interact with all design teams/Other personnel to enable the proper billing to all clients
  • Communicate with design teams of any potential problems with an order
  • Communicate all line items needing attention to director of accounting and CEO, prior to alerting the design teams
  • Coordinate delivery of merchandise to platinum design trade services, INC., or other warehouse as location of the project warrants
  • Investigate warehouse locations for projects in the event platinum cannot be used
  • Outline for CEO all line items for each project needing payment by importance. The prioritization of check requests needs to be coordinated with the project manager/Project team

Education & Experience

  • High School
  • Five or more years of expediting experience

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator must possess the ability to carry a diverse workload, work with Executive Staff/Designers/Merchandisers/Builders/Architects. Some travel throughout the state of Florida is required, sometimes overnight, so schedule will need to be flexible.

Key Skills Required

  • Essential to have a Marketing degree or experience.
  • Experience in writing press releases and blogs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities/planning and implementing new sales plans.
  • Managing website, social media, magazine features, photo shoots, press releases and negotiating advertising costs.
  • Executing marketing collateral materials through design, edit and print.
  • Communicating with clients and assisting with new potential residential clients.
  • Exhibit an expert command of scopes, fee structures and ability to manage all Marc-Michaels contracts from beginning>signing>addendums>project completion, supporting the President and Principal/Owner as well with all contractual needs (along with General Council).
  • Vet potentials (typically calls but may be in person) to ensure client is pre-qualified.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
  • Prefer 2-3 years of experience
